A big 'purpled' family- after aqad

Special gathering- waiting anxiously for the 'aqad nikah'

Dah dua hari dlm bulan Disember. Awal Muharam jatuh pada 7 Dis, lagi 5 hari bulan baru untuk tahun Hijrah. Pejam, celik...pejam, celik...masa berlalu. Renung kembali, apa dah kita buat selama ini.? Sesuatu yg membawa makna dlm hidup? Masa yang berlalu, membawa kita hampir kpd Pencipta atau jauh dari Nya?

So what has happened all this while? A lot. Raya, over. We chose color purple as the theme.

Then after Raya Haji, which was on 20 Nov, we held wedding reception for Kakak. Which caught everyone in surprise, including, we ourselves. Within short of time we planned, spread the invitations and made the house ready for the day.

At first we planned to have 600++ guests, then increased to 800 and finally we raised to 1K. Mula siapkan door gift bags for 700 then sumer nyer ditambah. So what's in the bag -- telur pindang, bahulu/kerepek ubi and buku doa. The majlis was held in Pelican Hotel and aqad nikah kat rumah. That's why we had to make the house ready ---- that the hardest part of all.... mengemas. Abi pulak made the unplanned things, i.e mengecat, and voila! The house, indeed, looks so radiant!

Yah with the help of others made the deco, at the stairways and the bedroom...looks nice. So our home looks a little bit different than before... kalau selalu "tak spt rumah orang", but at that time just like everyone's else.

So there were a lot of surprises/unplanned things that happened.

They were pleasant, anyway :) :) What we had been through in previous months.... also surprises but in totally different tones. :( =( May be Allah wants to test us: accept what had been decreed in redha or the opposite. And with lots of doa, tawakkal.. Allah makes everything afterwards quite smooth and acceptable.. Alhamdulillah.

AS bought Maher Zain's CD so most of the time we had his songs on air during the majlis. Abi bought new camera, so we had pix and AS as the prime cameraman,'cept kurang adjustment... the pix looked yellowish. Almaklumlah, camera baru tak sempat nak tengok manual.

The guests, quite ramai yg turned up: ramai kawan Abi, then our family of both sides, dari High School adalah dlm 30 org yg dtg inc. my Pengetua. Then my old school friend also managed to drop by, Dr. Jasniah from M'ca.

Syukur, all praises to Allah... for making every single thing happened as what it is. Got all the cooperation from others in preparing the day. I could not ask for more and I, myself do not know what to ask.

Left me wondering then, how the other seven weddings will look like????

The food nice, a few made compliments, enough for all... cukup untuk tapau lagi.
