Everything starts with the first step

Yeah..!

At last, after keep postponing it for so many times.... Umi & Yah start the first lesson of swimming today. Quite an experience that we both going through. Yah become a fast learner. Umi tertinggal sikit. Mungkin taktik tak betul. The first lesson is .... breathing properly underwater. After a few tries.. dah boleh. Then ...apungkan diri dgn pegang kat tepi pool. Slowly lepas tangan dan apungkan diri a little bit far from the pool side. Boleh gak . Yang Umi tak boleh, apung diri dari tengah... tak dapat nak angkat kaki! Yah boleh buat, in fact Yah dah boleh apung dan gerak dari tengah ke tepi pool. So dia proceed untuk tolak dengan kaki, gerakkan kaki mcm katak. Umi sangkut kat situ Mungkin next time leh progress. Mcm AS kata "practice makes progress.."

Pagi kul 7.40 Umi hantar MIF ke Sek Agama. Ada sambutan Maulidur Rasul & Hari Anugerah. Dia dapat hadiah untuk pelajar terbaik keseluruhan Tahun 4 ( kedua2 sesi) dan juga tempat pertama kelasnya. Alhamdulillah dan tahniah! Umi dan Abi doakan agar MIF menjadi anak yang tetap komited dalam pelajaran dan dapat menghayati ilmu yang diperolehi. All the best to you MIF.

Iqah almost finish with her driving lesson. Next she will be taking the test drive - maybe next month. Hope she will pass. Senang jadi supir gantikan Umi... Heh,heh :)

The Day It Is

It's a new day .... lagi 2 hari, cuti seminggu. Gi sekolah mcm biasa. By 10, ambik Yah & Iqah. Hantar Yah ke HBP for her phisio but before that we drop by at the hosp. canteen. Makan dulu. Kat rumah air tak de, even air tank dah habis. Ah! Sudah. Hari tu ada tadah, ok pulak. So kita dah pakai air tu, dan tak de simpanan lagi. Camne ni?
Iqah gi TIGS for her SPM result. Camne ye? Later known... she got 3A, 3B and 3C. Punya lah canteeekk.... Abi suggest dia ambik law. Tak perlu pening dgn all the sc. subjects!
For HS result, ada 27 got straight As. Add Maths % naik 3% - 12 orang failed. Ok lah tu. Jumpa bebudak tu, sume ckp terima kasih atas tunjuk ajar selama ini.... snap some pix with them. They are well behaved boys... May they succeed in their future undertakings. Terubat juga apa yg berlaku semlm. The most touching comes from the best student - the way he appreciate of what I have done... Jrg dapat such appreciation from my students, padahal dia memang an excellent student. Bravo HS 2009 students.
Balik, masih tak de air. Makan maggi je le nampaknya. Plan to finish marking the exam paper and... I did it! Now I'm going to treat myself with.....

A Day That Shouldn't Be

Yesterday was Add Maths paper for PK1. And it turned out to be the worst paper that I ever set. The printing so poor and it involved lots of figures. I did the errata which should be carried out by the teacher who started the paper. And it became a nightmare, when it involved the Admin. people.. So I thought it was over. Oh no....! Not for this particular person. The person brought the matter up today. Not pro. lah, kalau ada parents komplen lah.. blah2. But it was not entirely my fault... Yg org riso tu pun, tak leh check dulu ke? Kalau blur... check lah dulu. Make the ink darker..Ni tak. And I was running out of time to redo. Because I got the exam papers on Monday and the exam on Tues. That one.. mmg my fault. Because last week quite busy, with Sports Day, registering the teacher's for PTK and so on. Actually dah minta Yah type 80% of the Q. Tinggal 10% I add them up by Thurs. hantar riso on Fri. Dan inilah hasilnya..... Kerja yg ok selalu, hilang disbbkan sekali buat silap. Ironically, people will always tend to remember the bad part. Itu baru first part of the day.
Second part of the day, lepas habis sekolah. School ends by 1.25 pm and I did tell MA to be ready . Smpi sekolah dia,...hah, mana budak sorang ni? Tak de. Yg Umi penyabar ni, tunggu le dia smpi dah dekat kul 2. Ingatkan dia ada ko-ko ke. Last2 turun kat kantin, jmpa Ms Viki (kenal MA) dia kata MA kata Umi lambat balik sbb ada meeting. Lain yg dickp, lain pulak yg dia ingat. So 2 lebih baru balik. I've to drive mcm racer. Hampir kena langgar kat jln Tg. Laboh. Alhamdulillah dpt swerve or to make it umph dapat 'swift' (Baru betul naik Swift, ek??! ) Hanya Allah saja yg menyelamatkan tadi. A very close call! Kalau tak, lagi lah lambat :(
Then this is the third part: I've to attend a meeting at PPD by 2.30. Mampus lambat! And to make thing bad to worst is.... kena gi dgn org yg sama di atas. Dah lah tadi kena luku, skg tambah satu perkara lagi yg dia boleh luku lagi. Dpt call lagi dari ofis, bila nak sampai... See, esok nmpk gaya I've to explain. The meeting is about e-GTukar. Kerja yg pasti menunggu for the coming weeks. And it's over by 4 pm. Then gi C4 - beli barang utk b/fast tomorrow. Balik, lepak. Mkn pun tak larat. Digagahkan diri. And here I am... Depan screen. To make the day as history. So that one day later when I read this again: I will read it with a smile... :)
..And tomorrow SPM result will be out! How Iqah?? How my Add Maths' rating? How many will fail? Tunggu......!
