Last day of 2012

Akhirnya hari terakhir 2012 datang jua. Esok bermula hari baru, bulan baru dan tahun baru. Masa berjalan yang akan sampai ke penghujungnya. Penghujung hidup adalah sebuah kematian. Yang pastinya akan datang. Cuma tiada siapa tahu bila...... 2012 yang berlalu pastinya bawa banyak kenangan yang mematangkan usia. Apapun nampaknya tahun depan bermula episod kehidupan yang baru. On 1 Jan we going to send off MIF to Integomb to continue as F2 student. Then on 2 Jan MAf is going to register at  SMKV Indahpura . Tinggallah kami berdua di rumah. But few days later will be joining back by FA and RR since they are having end of year break. Last 19 Dec. MAf got his PMR result, and unexpectedly was called to go to JPN Johor to receive Anugerah PMR for his category. He managed to get 5B3C. Good for him! And I owe all this to his teachers who were very supportive, encouraging and helpful. Today I just collect his slip and that 3C come from Maths, Geog and KH. Hopefully he will do his best for SPM in the next two year time! I post this video for MA to commemorate him as the last brood to leave the nest.....!

Be cool, life is not that easy!

Our cucu is 10 days old. So innocent little guy. A lot of things he's expecting.he's like a white clean sheet and it's up to the parents of how to make out of it. Either it will be beautifully colored or just splashed here and there. We ourselves have 8 clean sheets in the beginning and all these while i am still wondering, whether i've made them wonderfully colored or just plain tainted since we are not that great painters to begin with. And i must admit that there are ups and downs in carrying out the paintings. Only Allah is our hope and trust to make things possible. O Allah give us strength so that everything that we have done turning out right and they are all become true muslims in the correct sense!

Nice date of today 1/2/34

Whatt date? Isn't today is 14/12/12? Haaa...! Tulah asyik fikir date Shamsiah sebenarnya hari ini ialah 1 Safar 1434H. So if you turn it to digital it becomes 1/2/34. Nice isn't it??? Orang asyik look for 12/12/12 yang dah berlalu pergi. Ramai orang plan nak anak lahir on this date sampai sanggup buat CS. The date isn't on the weekend, so that many not having their wedding vows on this date. If not it wll be the same like last year when there were so many having their akad/vows on 11/11/11 including one of my nephews. Because of that date he had his akad almost at 11 pm! Pheww! Puas menunggu imam nak langsungkan! Anyway, the long holiday almost over! This morning I just realised that it was only 2 weeks more before the hols over! :( :( asyik tak cukup jer! Panjang tak cukup, pendek apa lagi! So what have I done so far? Hummm, nothing much. Been on a trip to P.Timur early of hols for about 6 days. Balik kg last week. Next week nak spend the weekend with my old mates in JB. Then most of the time I am here at home..... Masak, lying down which is plenty of time :) surfing internet, starting belajar Arab by buying buku arab mudah,jahit sikit... Huhuhu :( Dengar radio.... Like what am I doing right now. Usrati by ustazah Norhafizah Musa, my orang kampung. What is she talking about...... Penawar Segera aka painkiller untuk dpt jiwa yg tenang: 1. Bangun sebelum Fajar/Sahur utk beristighfar kepada Allah .Dia sempat bincang yg ni jer. Yag lagi 9 disambung lain kali.... Hmm adakah dpt dgr lagi. Mungkin Allah mudahkan. By next week which is on 19/12/12 the result of PMR will be announced! Then we will know how MA doing.. And it also a day after his burst-day :D Will become double celeb then. Lookng forward for that.... Till then, Chiaoooo!

2nd last birthday of the year!

Today is the 24th birthday of my third daughter.. I wanted to post this on her fb, but look like it's closed! Guano... So i just twit her, but the words are so limited for each twit, so i think better put it here. And here it goes:
"No one loves you more than Allah. No one cares for you more than Allah. No one knows what is best for you except Allah. Even we don’t know what’s best for us most of the time. But He does—always. He knows what is best for you, when it’s best for you, where it’s best for you and in what way it’s best for you. All you need to do is just hand it all to Him and He’ll take care of it all and give you, without doubt, what is best for you."

With that happy birthday my dear. 

We'll celebrate it later, kay. When most of us are available. Love you and take care.....

As time goes by.......

The three of us are here, #1511@bluewave. Yesterday we sent off AS to manchester.. His flight was at 8.30 pm but only at 7pm did he passed thru the boarding gate. Bye,bye for the mean time. We wish you all the best. May Allah gives what is best for you.Take care of Him and He may take care of you. Now there are only 3 of us which will be permanently @10,TBP. Iqah will surely join us from time to time. And then Angah and then Akak with the litl' guy and his M.Lang. And then FS and also MIFAR who will come and leave as time goes by..... Time will fly. And hope we can go through using the correct path, the blessed one. So that we will not regret it when we are in the other world. Mistakes do happen, but take time to repent, trying the best to avoid in the future. Allah is the most happy with the repentance of  His  creatures.

Doa untuk anak supaya menjadi soleh dan solehah

اَللَّهُمَّ فَقِّهُّ فِي الدِّيْنِ وَعَلِّمْهُ التَّأْوِيْلَ.
Maksudnya: Ya Allah, berilah kefahaman kepadanya dalam urusan agama dan ajarkannya Takwil (tafsir al-Quran).

اَللَّهُمَّ أَلْهِمْهُ التَّأْوِيْلَ وَعَلِّمْهُ الْحِكْمَةَ.
Maksudnya: Ya Allah, ilhamkannya Takwil (tafsir al-Quran) dan ajarkannya hikmah (ilmu yang tepat).

اَللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ فِيْهِ وَانْشُرْ مِنْهُ.
Maksudnya: Ya Allah, berkatilah padanya dan sebarkanlah ilmunya.

Adios AS..... May we see you again in oct 2013 as a much matured guy.  Who know what will happen one year from now!

September coming.....

Dah Sept....... Semua datang dan pergi, NH resumes working & and the little guy @ our cucu now become the resident of PG. next week RR begins her 3 rd sem. & dok luar kampus. Within 2 week time, AS will be leaving for MU. Tinggal kami ber3 je lah lepas ni for the most of time. Anyway we'll be joined by them from time to time, insya allah.
Raya pun dah masuk minggu ke 3 and soon will be leaving us too. Hopefully sempat habis puasa 6 . Umi dgn Abi dah 2 hari puasa. Last fri we held open house for HS students & neighbors. Jamu laksa & lontong. Laksa byk lebih sampai ari ni.

Malam Raya

Laa... Dah nak Raya! Kalau mlm selalu kita gi Masjid S.I tuk solat isya & terawih.  And it was over...so soon! Mlm ni dgr ikim.fm...... Dgr lagu raya,  takbir, bunyi mercun berdentam dentum kat luar. Tonight quite relax becoz we've done with the cooking. Ketupat were done yesterday and we managed sending them to the relatives and neighbors. Planned to give to the non muslim neighbors, but not enough. Lauk enough till sahur. So today masak lagi utk iftar dan sikit for breakfast esok. The guys already ironed their baju melayu. Our theme is peach . But raya is not only around new baju or eating ketupat,lemang etc... It is the relation with allah, the continuation of the good deeds.
Do not be slaves of Ramadan, but be slaves of Allah (swt) throughout the entire year. Those who worship Allah a great amount in Ramadan and slack off the rest of the year are not giving Allah (swt) the rights He has upon us. Ramadan has left us, so what great habits have you picked up?Ptg raya we'll balik kg.
Taqabbalallahu minna wa minkum.

Latest addition of the brood

Marhaban, ahlan wa sahlan to our first grandchild - Farhan Irfan. Born on 14 th of June 2012 at 1.30 pm. He weighs 3.1 kg at birth. May he become a good child, easy to be taken care of and in good health. Now we are "atok & nenek", "jidda & Jiddah", "Ah Kong & .....". Here his pix taken by his mom on the 1st, 3rd and 5th day.

April

April comes and nearly going...... and I haven't update anything. Tak sempat. Lots of things happened actually..
SPM result out already and FS got 7A and 1B (Physics!, padahal in Trial he got A-). Tak ada beza and he'll stay in UTP.
Kes Acu dmm kat SBPI created mini havoc. Dmm biasa but the school treated mcm dmm luar biasa! I missed him a lot, tak jumpa dia since dia dmm. Hopefully no news means good news! And we plan to go to KL to join Bersih 3.0 on the 28th, jumpa Acu ; gi KLI Book fair. Yg mana jadi tak tahu lah.....hrp semua jadi.

Then another thing, waiting anxiously for IT to arrive! Angah nyer dah sampai last week, now Abi's turn. Esok kot! That's all for now............

End of Mid-Sem Break

اللهم اعنا على بر والدينا, اللهم اغفر لهم وارحمهم, اللهم اجعلنا قرة عين لهم

La....., dah habis cuti ku! Asyik postpone nak update blog ni. Pagi tadi my hubby siap isytihar... nak kemas rumah, kemas hari ni! He,hehe! Kemas? Semlm sempat sapu kat bilik, hajat hati nak  mop (pergh! rajin...) Tapi... tinggal kenangan. 

Awal cuti (by Friday) semua orang ada kat rumah... Full house. Akak cuti sbb dia tgh monitor her BP, Yah gak cuti ,then  Ahmad ambik dia dgn Acu from Gombak. Farhan also cuti (though some misunderstanding there!). then angah and Iqah. So... semua ada. Bila lagi akan berlaku seperti ini???

Anyway something did happen which made me awfully good!

Dah jahit lencana baju Acu (4 helai), dah beli his PBSM uniform, towel, u/wear (he,he,he....!)

I prepared breakfast daily before my hubby went to work even though cannot say the same thing for other meals, but I think I cooked more than eating out during this week! :)

Celebrated my birthday with pre, on and post. (Pergh dasat tul taun ni). Pre-celeb with KFC, on the Day: eating out dpn T.merdeka (ber4 je!), then followed by post at Polka Dots (grill & hot pot) with full house and then having cake (Strawberry Choc) but this time with full house minus 1. Farhan already on the bus by 11.30 am back to UTP. Anyway.... thanks to all my kids who made all these possible inc. the Alba watch (it's quite sometimes for me of not wearing any wrist watch). 

So I pray for all of you as the doa above: "May allah bless you all, gives us goodness, forgiveness, and make you all the apples of our eyes."

Next week , daily chores resume and SPM result will also be known by Tues 21st. Hmm, wondering what will it be for Farhan?? 

CNY long break

Another 2 days left for the break. Just came back from SA yesterday. We left BP on Sat.... balik kg to attend kenduri. kahwin, sampai dah lambat, tapi adalah lauk kerbau lompap lagi. Met my ex-primary school mate. Fuhh,  we were in  Year 6 in 1976, so about 36 yrs ago! Baru jumpa semula. And it happened that she was the  photographer of the majlis.
So tidur kat kg that night.  Esoknya bawak my Mom to Putrajaya. Mlm Akak belanja mkn kat Ramai Seafood.
Next day we left early, dropped Akak at bus stand since she will go back to BP and we proceed to Sungkai. Quite ramai, but later lagi ramai. First we straight to have hot dip together with Nenek. Later we boiled eggs and then having a picnic under the tree. We had mee hoon, drummets and the newly boiled eggs. Sodapp! Nak mandi kolam sejuk, kurr semangat ramainya orang. so tengok je dari tepi. Solat Zuhr dan waiting to take off. We had another night at Putrajaya. The next day we left for Genting (mula ingat dah tak jadi, akhir jadi) Naik cable car and such a long Q for pergi dan balik. By 12 noon baru kat Genting. Masuk outdoor park, naik a few things and we left at 5pm. Malam we stayed at Rumah Idaman (NS type) at Taman Botani. Asalnya nak bbq tapi dah lewat sangat dan lagi pun hujan, we had Ayam Penyet at S.Alam instead.
On the last day, singgah rumah Alang. My Mom going to spend some nights there and we heeded back to BP.

Notes: I've been jotting this for some time but only recently I post it. That's why the first part macm tak betul.....

First Birthday of The Year

It's mid Feb already.... so what have happened so far? Hmmm, a lot actually. We've celebrated the first birthday of the year. Whose else? Abi's 49th birthday. That's mean more will follow and whose the nearest??? Heh 3x! How did we celebrate it...? it fell on a long weekend since we had cuti maulud followed by thaipusam and  FS & Mh were able to join us. We went to Bekok for a picnic and BBQ. And this time quite a lot of food that we bbqed, sampai mlm makan yg sama. Malam Akak joined, she just back from CH and we had cake.
Ahh...! That was the time when we were all there .....the 10 of us.
To this date there are only 4 of uf left. Umi, Abi, ASAR and MAfAR. MIFAR has just leave to start a new life as an InteGomb bunch.Alhamdulillah, at last he was selected for the 2nd intake. One of the 19 who have been offered and only him from other state, the rest are all locals. Hopefully he'll adapt himself well there right till form 5. Rf will start her 2nd sem soon and hope she does her best then. She was able to have DL for the 1st sem (Well done!) and if she able  to repeat for the 2nd time then she is eligible to secure a scholarship. All the best to her.
And soon ASAR may get himself a job and then there will be 3 of us at home.
We keep moving on and never forget the real purpose of our existence. Never forget to thanks Allah for every single thing that we have.If we carry out our responsibility as a human well regardless of what we are i.e as a parent, child, worker or a student then we may  leave the world without regretting anything. May Allah shows us the straight path till the end. Amin!

Tahun Baru

I haven't update the blog since the New Year. As usual when the school starts, the routine is quite tight...(oh! Is that really??? :) :)) Anyway it is already 2 weeks in the new year.

So... what's going on? Hmmm, for MIFAR... He's in HS since KYS and Maahad tak dapat. Tinggal MRSM ..... yg 'ntah bila result akan keluar.

For other son, FSAR : he's supposed to be at home , learning to drive.. but, unexpectedly he is offered Mara's SPC to start the foundation course at UTP. To be registered on this 18th and we have to take 1 day off to accompany him. He's to take Pet. Geosc.... hopefully that suits him. And he will do well in pursuing it.
The other guy, ASAR is supposed to be back for good as soon as the other one going. Back from UTP and going to the same place. Quite a pretty transaction. Alhamdulillah.
Actually in 1 week time we'll be off for a week. CNY. Cuti lagiiii! So nanti sambung lagi untuk citer selanjutnya.
 Gambar atas ialah hari pertama sekolah. Hari pertama MIFAR sebagai pelajar sekolah menengah..... dah besar anak Umi yg bongsu ni! 
MAfAR sudah jadi pelajar Ting 3 , akan ambil PMR tahun ni.... Kalau result baik, leh sambung kat Penang.
FSAR kat belakang  tu:  akan mula first driving lesson. Tapi nampaknya tak sempat dapat lesen lagi!
